The parameter used to be named as "Maximum Switched Engine Speed", which refers to a different parameter in InSite Pre 2007 ECMs: not changed ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ New in Version 7.53 2007 ECMs: New features: - Passwords: Adjustment and Reset can be '000000' (default disabled password value) if Master is also '000000' - Passwords: All passwords can be 1-6 in length. It will be padded to with 0x00s to the right. Example - ['M']['M'] --> ['M']['M'][0x00][0x00][0x00][0x00] - 12300 has been added to the documentation file. This was not included in previous documents, but was supported in the software. - Grid Heater Enable (30500) is now supported in VEPS for 2007 engines, where the calibrations also support it. - All the Min/Max ranges and default values have been removed from 2007 engine documentation released with VEPS. This is to avoid confusion when a new calibration is released and VEPS documentation is out of date. Please consult the GCE website which has updated calibration documentation for the latest values. Bug fixes: - 15460 has been removed from VEPS support. Parking Brake PTO Enable is not a valid parameter. Pre 2007 ECMs: - CM800 Euro3 and CM850 Euro4 - Added support for Load Based Speed Control (10040) - CM850 Euro4.5 - Added support for the following parameters 12000 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick 12001 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Engine Power Angle 12002 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Engine Min Power Angle 12003 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Engine Max Power Angle 12011 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Oil Pan Type 12012 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Oil Pan Location 12031 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Horizontal Engine Tilt Angle 12032 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Min Tilt Angle 12033 - Oil Level Electronic Dipstick Max Tilt Angle 12100 - Intake Air Heater _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ New in Version 7.52 2007 ECMs: New features: - Added new parameters 30090 Coolant Level Configuration and 30190 Coolant Level Mux Address. - Added support for unlocking and changing 2007 OEM Password. - Allow for same Par file to be used again even when setting core2 Master Password or OEM Password. Bug fixes: - (11440) bug: If (10000) = (11440) = (11430), when 10000 is lowered and 11440 is in the par file and not set below 10000 along with 11430, then VEPS errors out. This is fixed so that 11440 and 11430 are moved to 10000's value if they are in the par file and a warning is given for each. - When the latest version of the Cummins engineering tool was installed on the same PC as the VCP software, Multiplexing values were not written to the ECM by the VCP software due to a newer version of a shared library installed on the PC. This issue has been resolved so that regardless of the version of the shared library, the Multiplexing values will be registered in the ECM. - Display name for Battery Voltage Monitor changed to Alternator Failure Warning to match INSITE naming convention. Range fixes: - The Max value for (30311) is the difference of (13590) and (10090). - Corrected max value for TI_MPH_Overspeed_1 (12940) and TI_MPH_Overspeed_2 (12950) from 16383.8 to 10180.4 m/h. Pre 2007 ECMs: - CM800 Echo modules would at times not send all the bytes in the feature table (AENBLFLG) to the VCP software. Checks have been added to make sure this does get read. If it doesn't after 6 tries then it will error out. If all goes well, this adds less than 4 seconds to the full programming of a pre-2007 ECM. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ New in Version 7.51 This revision of the VEPS software was created to support: The 2007 Automotive products: ISB, ISC, ISL, ISM, ISX 07.
